RESOLUTION NO. 94-29 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH AERO-MARK, INC. IN THE AMOUNT <br />OF ELEVEN THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT <br />DOLLARS AND TWENTY-EIGHT CENTS FOR STREET <br />STRIPING. <br />WHEREAS, it has already been deemed necessary and in the best <br />interests of the health, safety and welfare of all of the Village <br />residents to have street striping conducted within the Village; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to law, bids were advertised by the Village, <br />those bids were received, and it was determined that the bid of <br />Aero-Mark, Inc. was the best bid. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION l. The Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with Aero-Mark, Inc. to perform <br />street striping to certain streets within the Village, pursuant to <br />the bids and specifications as advertised by the Village, and <br />pursuant to that company's bid in the amount of Eleven Thousand, <br />Six Hundred Twenty-Eight Dollars and Twenty-Eight Cents <br />($11,628.28), as received by the Village, which is hereby and <br />herein determined to be the best bid, and pursuant to terms and <br />conditions set forth in these documents. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village. <br />It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by law. <br />J E CINCO, <br />o cil President
