RESOLUTION NO. 94-37 <br />- INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH RAUSCHENBACH, <br />CASINI & URBAN, INC. AS AND FOR ARCHITECTURAL <br />SERVICES PERTAINING TO THE PROPOSED MUNICIPAL CENTER <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Mayfield did extensive investigation, <br />and interviewing to determine the best architectural firm for the <br />location and design of a municipal center for the Village of <br />Mayfield; and <br />WHEREAS, the firm which Council determined was the best <br />equipped to perform such services was Rauschenbach, Casini & Urban, <br />Inc.; and <br />WHEREAS, Council approved entering into an agreement with said <br />architectural firm in the form attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein as Exhibit "A". <br />'NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into an agreement with Rauschenbach, Casini & <br />• Urban, Inc. for architectural services for the proposed municipal <br />center, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in Exhibit <br />"A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village. <br />It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by law. <br />ldi'rl? <br />J AN /- <br />E CINCO, <br />o cil President <br />First Reading: <br />Second Reading: <br />Third Reading: <br />/ <br />September 19 , 1994 <br />October 17 , 1994 <br />Suspended , 1994
