RESOLUTION NO. 94-48 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A LEASE <br />CONTRACT WITH AMERITECH MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS <br />FOR PAGING SERVICES FOR THE YEAR 1995 IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />SIX THOUSAND EIGHTY-NINE DOLLARS AND FORTY CENTS <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of all of the <br />Village residents that the Village enter into a lease contract with Ameritech Mobile <br />Communications for paging services for use by members of the Fire Department and <br />Service Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OH,, IO THAT: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and directed to enter into <br />a lease contract with Ameritech Mobile Communications for paging services for 1995 which <br />includes equipment rental, unlimited air time, maintenance, and local access numbers in <br />the amount of Six Thousand Eighty-Nine Dollars and Forty Cents ($6,089.40). <br />Section 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council <br />and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, <br />took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Codes. <br />, <br />I Section 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents <br />of Mayfield Village.
