RESOLUTION NO. 94-49 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY TREASURER <br />TO ADVANCE FROM THE PROCEEDS OF TAX LEVIES <br />FOR THE COLLECTION YEAR 1995 <br />WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that money in a <br />County Treasurer to the account of a local authority and lawfully applicable to the <br />purpose of the current fiscal year may be withdrawn by a municipality upon the proper <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that sound fiscal policy <br />requires that such withdrawal be requested from Cuyahoga County Auditor and the <br />Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Cuyahoga County Auditor be and is hereby requested to <br />draw warrants and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby requested to <br />pay the Village of Mayfield all monies presently being held in the Cuyahoga County <br />Treasury to the account of the Village of Mayfield, lawfull applicable to the purpose of <br />? the fiscal year 1995. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed immediately <br />to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Cuyahoga County Auditor and the <br />Cuyahoga County Treasurer. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings <br />of this Council, and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption by <br />Council and signature of the Mayor, or at the earliest time permitted by law. <br />, ?
