31 <br />CHAPTER 133 <br />Finance Director <br />133.01 Investment of funds. 133.04 Fire damaged structures; removal <br />133.02 Petty Cash Fund, or repair securing fund. <br />133.03 Authorized signatures. 133.05 Investment interest credited. <br />CROSS REFERENCES <br />Term, qualifications, removal, vacancy, duties - see CHTR. V§5 <br />Advertising for contracts - see ADM. 123. 02 <br />Bond; bond of Assistant - see ADM. 153.01 <br />133.01 INVESTMENT OF FUNDS. <br />Whenever there are moneys in the Treasury which will not be required to be used <br />for a period of six months or more, such moneys may, in lieu of being deposited in a <br />bank or banks, be invested in accordance with the provisions of Ohio R. C. 731. 56 <br />through 731. 59, The investments so purchased may be sold in accordance with Ohio <br />R. C. 7310 57m (Ordo 70-38. Passed 9-21-70. ) <br />133.02 PETTY CASH FUND. <br />(a) Petty Cash or Impressed Cash is a sum of money set aside for the purpose <br />of making change or paying small obligations for which the issuance of a formal <br />voucher, purchase order and check would be too expensive and time consuming. <br />(h) The following are the authorized Petty Cash Accounts for the Municipality: <br />(1) Finance Department $ 300.00 <br />(2) Service and Building Department 100.00 <br /> (per Section 137.02) <br />(3) Police Department 200.00 <br />(4) Police "Flash Account" 500.00 <br />(5) Investigative "Flash Account" 200.00 <br />(6) Clerk of Council Office 100.00 <br />(7) Recreation Committee 100.00 <br /> Total Petty Cash $1500.00 <br />(c) The following are the custodians for the respective specific Petty <br />Cash Accounts listed in subsection (b) hereof: <br />(1) Finance Department: Assistant Finance Director. <br />(2) Service Department and Building Department: Secretary to the <br />Service/Building Commissioner. <br />(3) Police Department: Secretary to the Chief of Police. <br />1994 Replacement
