ORDINANCE NO. 93- 23 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT <br />WITH AERO MARK FOR STRIPING OF CERTAIN STREETS <br />THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, the Village has advertised for bids pursuant to law <br />for striping of certain streets throughout the Village; and <br />WHEREAS, sealed bids were received and analyzed by the <br />Engineer, and the lowest and best bid being determined to be that <br />of Aero Mark for the sum of Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Nine <br />and 60/100 Dollars ($12,259.60).', <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: i <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into an agreement with Aero Mark for an amount <br />not to exceed Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Nine and 60/100 <br />Dollars ($12,259.60), as and for striping of certain streets <br />throughout the Village pursuant'to the terms and conditions set <br />forth in the advertisement for bids, the bid specifications, and <br />the bid of the contractor, and in~~a format prepared by the Engineer <br />and approved by the Law Director'. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized to make <br />payment for the aforementioned services in an amount not to exceed <br />Twelve Thousand Two Hundred Fifty Nine and 60/100 Dollars <br />($12,259.60) out of the appropriate account of the Village. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in t~~he preamble hereof. It shall, <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the <br />affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to <br />Council and approval by the Mayor!or otherwise at the earliest time <br />allowed by law. <br />' JO N E CINCO, ' <br />C~ncil President <br />
