c PROJECT NAME: INTERSTATE ROUTES 271 and 480 ., ORDINANCE NO.: 93-40 DATE: FAILED 9/20/93 An emergency ordinance enacted by the Village of Mayfield, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, hereinafter referred to as the MUNICIPALITY, in the matter of the hereinafter described improvement and requests the cooperation of the County of Cuyahoga by its Board of County Commissioners, hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY, and the Department of Transportation, State of Ohio. WHEREAS, the MUNICIPALITY has recognized the need for and proposes the improvement of a portion of public highway which is described as follows: The construction of new dual-dual express lanes on IR-271 from the Mayfield South Corporation Line to the Cuyahoga/Lake County Line. WHEREAS, this project within the corporation limits of the MUNICIPALITY is part of a larger project which is the improvement of the limited access highways of IR-271 and IR-480 that are located within the Cities of Warrensville Heights, Beachwood, Pepper Pike, Lyndhurst, Mayfield Heights, Highland Heights, Maple Heights, and Bedford Heights, and the Villages of Orange, Mayfield, and North Randall. NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Council of the Village of..Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio; A. CONSENT `~ 1. That it is declared to be in the public interest that the consent of said MUNICIPALITY be and such consent is hereby given to the COUNTY and the Ohio Department of Transportation to construct the above described improvement in accordance with plans, specifications and estimates approved by the COUNTY. B. COOPERATION 1. That the MUNICIPALITY will cooperate with the COUNTY and the Ohio Department of Transportation to construct the above-described improvement. 2. That the COUNTY will arrange for the preparation of construction plans and specifications, including necessary engineering reports for improvement. 3. That the COUNTY will arrange for the supervision and administration of the construction contract.
