"' RESOLUTION NO. 93-13 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Bruce G. Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION DEDICATING THE 1993 EMERGENCY ONE <br />FIRE TRUCK AND CEREMONIAL BELL <br />IN THE MEMORY OF FORMER FIRE CHIEF ALLAN L. HEJCL <br />WHEREAS, Allan L. Hejcl served the Mayfield Village Fire Department for 34 <br />years; he joined the Department in November 1953; was promoted to Fire Chief in <br />November 1967; retired from Mayfield Village in May, 1987, and <br />WHEREAS, Allan L. Hejcl devoted his life to serve the community, and <br />WHEREAS, The 1993 Emergency One 75' ladder truck was placed in Service in <br />March, 1993, and whereas Allan L. Hejcl would have been proud to see the continued <br />progressive strides in the Fire Department, and <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />____, SECTION 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of <br />themselves and all the employees and residents of Mayfield Village, hereby express <br />their deep appreciation and gratitude to the family of Former Fire Chief Allan L. Hejcl <br />for his faithful and devoted service to Mayfield Village. <br />SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and directed to prepare <br />duplicate original copies of this Resolution. One such original shall be presented to the <br />family of Former Fire Chief Allan L. Hejcl as a small token of the esteem in which his <br />memory is held by the residents, officials and employees of Mayfield Village, Ohio. The <br />other original shall be placed in the permanent records of the Village as a lasting tribute <br />to Allan L. Hejcl. <br />SECTION 3.
