RESOLUTION NO. 93- 25 ' <br />._ INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />OF COMMENDATION TO DEBBIE SMITH <br />WHEREAS, Debbie Smith has been an employee of the Ma~rfield Village <br />Police Department for eleven years and is the day-shift dispatcher; and <br />W'HEREA`S, as a part-time dispatcher for another community, Debbie <br />received an emergency telephone call involving a baby that was having <br />convulsions; and <br />WHEREAS, with professional care and expertise, Debbie Smith <br />provided the caller with instructions which proved life saving for the <br />child. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor, his Administration and the Council of <br />Mayfield Village, on behalf of all of the residents of Mayfield Village, <br />do hereby and herein commend Debbie Smith for her service as a <br />dispatcher and her life saving presence of mind, which help make <br />Mayfield Village a safer place to live and work. <br />SECTION 2. That the Clerk of Council is directed to prepare <br />duplicate originals of this resolution and to provide one such original <br />to Debbie Smith. <br />SECTION 3. That Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council to the adoption of this Resolution have been <br />taken at open meetings of this Council; in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio <br />Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4.
