Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLDTION OF COMMEENDATION <br />TO PATROLMAN RICHARD WHITEHEAD <br />WHEREAS, on September 27, 1993, due to the diligent and efficient <br />performance of his duties, Patrolman Richard Whitehead apprehended a <br />repeat offender of the Driving While Under The Influence Of Alcohol law <br />near the intersection of Wilson Mills and S.O.M. Center Road in the <br />Village of Mayfield; and <br />WHEREAS, the individual apprehended by.Officer Whitehead on <br />September 27th had been previously arrested eight times for driving <br />while under the influence of alcohol, and on this, his ninth arrest, <br />registered .29 percent of blood alcohol content which is nearly three <br />times the presumed intoxicated limit; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayfield Village Police Department actively monitors <br />the roadways for people who have earned a spot on the Department of <br />Public Safety's HOT Sheet maintained by the Ohio Department of Public <br />Safety for the State of Ohio. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor, his administration, and the Council of <br />the Village of Mayfield, on behalf of all of the residents and <br />businesses in the Village, does hereby and herein commend Patrolman <br />Richard Whitehead on his successful arrest and prosecution of a nine <br />time repeat DWI offender. <br />SECTION 2. That the Clerk is directed to certify a copy of this <br />Resolution to Patrolman Richard Whitehead. <br />SECTION 3.
