<br />ORDINANCE NO. 92- 04 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A <br />CONTRACT WITH ABV CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR <br />CHANNEL WORK AT THE SERVICE BUILDING AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Village has advertised pursuant to law for bids <br />to perform certain channel work for the improvement of the Service <br />Building in the Village of Mayfield; and <br />WHEREAS, the engineer has received and reviewed the bids, and <br />has determined that the lowest and best bid was that of ABV <br />Contractors, Inc. for the sum of Twenty-Three Thousand Four Hundred <br />Dollars ($23,400.00). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into an agreement with ABV Contractors, Inc. , for <br />the performance of channel work at the Service Building pursuant to <br />the specifications and contract documents as prepared and filed by <br />the Village Engineer. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason <br />to encourage commercial development within Mayfield village.
