ORDINANCE NO. 92-11 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 91-35 AND RESOLUTION N0. 91-63 RELATIVE TO THE APPROPRIATION OF PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC PARK PURPOSES WHEREAS, Council and the administration have determined that it is no longer necessary nor desirable, at this time, to proceed with the appropriation of property for public park purposes as determined under Ordinance No. 91-35 and Resolution No. 91-63. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 91-35, authorizing the appropriation of property for public park purposes, and Resolution No. 91-63, declaring the necessity and intention to appropriate a fee simple interest in property for public park purposes, are hereby and herein repealed. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 3. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason to encourage commercial development within Mayfield Village.
