ORDINANCE NO. 92- 26 <br />PAGE TWO <br />for the fourth false alarm, and Three Hundred Dollars <br />($300.00) for the fifth and each successive false Fire <br />alarm. Each false Police alarm beyond four shall result <br />in an assessment of Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00) per <br />alarm. <br />(e) No penalty shall be assessed for a false alarm to which <br />there is no response by the Police or Fire Departments, <br />nor when the cause has been proven to be an act of God. <br />SECTION 2. Section 971.06 as previously existed, is hereby <br />and herein repealed in its entirety. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 1.21.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
