r- ORDINANCE NO. 92-34 PAGE TWO SECTION 1. The zone map of Mayfield Village, Ohio, established in Section 1153.01 of~the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, as amended from time to time, .is hereby revised by changing the zoning classification of the non single- family portions of that property, comprising approximately two hundred acres of land located north of Highland Road, west of S.O.M. Center Road, east of I-271, and south of the northern property line of the Midvale Avenue lots, and more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein, and as shown in the shaded portions of the map included as part of Exhibit "A", such that said property be and is hereby rezoned from its current classification of Office Laboratory District and Production-Distribution District to Single Family Residential District (U-1) . SECTION 2. The Clerk of Council is hereby and herein directed to certify a copy of this Ordinance to the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections to be placed on the ballot for a special election to be held on May 4, 1993. The Clerk shall certify this Ordinance to the Board of Elections no later than sixty days prior to the special election date of May 4, 1993. SECTION 3. By authority of this Ordinance, the Board of Elections is authorized and directed to place on the ballot for the electors of Mayfield Village, at the special election on May 4, 1993, the following. question: SHALL THOSE PORTIONS OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED NORTH OF HIGHLAND ROAD, WEST OF S.O.M. CENTER ROAD, EAST OF I-271, AND SOUTH OF THE NORTHERN PROPERTY LINES OF ALL MIDVALE AVENUE LOTS, WHICH ARE NOT CURRENTLY ZONED SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, BE REZONED FROM ITS CURRENT CLASSIFICATION OF OFFICE LABORATORY AND PRODUCTION-DISTRIBUTION DISTRICT TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (U-1)? YES NO SECTION 4. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance in whole or in part are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict herewith. SECTION 5. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
