7 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 92- 40 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />- AN ORDINANCE <br />ADOPTING A MASTER PLAN FOR THE ZONING <br />AND USE OF THE NORTHWEST PORTION OF <br />THE VILLAGE <br />WHEREAS, Robert C. Hill. Inc., a renowned professional <br />community planning company, has spent several years studying the <br />entire Village of Mayfield, and has made its recommendations for <br />the zoning and use of the northwest area of the Village, located <br />north of Highland Road, west of S.O.M. Center Road, east of I-271, <br />and south of the northern property line of all Midvale Avenue lots; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the recommendations in the study of the northwest <br />area of the Village are based upon an overall study and plan for <br />the Village of Mayfield in its entirety; and <br />WHEREAS, the development study of Robert C. Hill, Inc.,• is <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit A. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the comprehensive development study, and <br />master plan for zoning and use of the property located in the <br />northwest area of the Village of Mayfield, specifically located <br />north of Highland Road, west of S.O.M. Center Road, east of I-271 <br />and south of the northern property lines of all Midvale Avenue <br />lots, same being attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit <br />A, is hereby and herein adopted as the master plan of the Village <br />of Mayfield for the aforementioned areas of the Village. <br />SECTION 2. This ordinance has been referred to the Planning <br />Commission for its report and recommendation pursuant to the <br />requirements of the Charter of the Village of Mayfield, and a <br />public hearing was held thereon pursuant to law. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of t~,e~Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4.
