RESOLUTION NO. 92- 09 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE SUBURBAN POLICE ANTI-CRIME NETWORK IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($8,000.00) FOR MAYFIELD VILLAGE'S CONTRIBUTION TO THE 1992 BUDGET AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, the total amount of Mayfield Village's contribution to the 1992 Budget of SPAN is Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00), $4,000.00 now and $4,000.00 in July. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Department of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to pay Suburban Police Anti-Crime Network the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) as and for Mayfield Village's contribution to the 1992 Budget of SPAN referred to herein, $4,000.00 now and an additional $4,000.00 in July, 1992. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that such plan was necessary to encourage orderly development in Mayfield Village.
