RESOLUTION NO. 92-37 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Pietrafese and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN CUYAHOGA COUNTY'S <br />1992 CRACK AND JOINT SEAL PROGRAM FOR CERTAIN PORTIONS <br />OF RIDGEBURY ROAD AND WILSON MILLS ROAD. <br />WHEREAS, The Village has been notified by the Cuyahoga County <br />Engineer that certain roads located in Mayfield Village are in need <br />of improvement and warrant inclusion in the County sponsored 1992 <br />Crack and Joint Seal Program; and <br />WHEREAS, The Village Engineer has reviewed the analysis of the <br />Cuyahoga County Engineer and recommends that the Village <br />participate in this program relative to the crack sealing and minor <br />pavement repair of Ridgebury Road from Mayfield West Corporation <br />Line to the Mayfield East Corporation Line and Wilson Mills Road <br />from S.O.M. Center Road to the Village of Mayfield East Corporation <br />line. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That participation in the Cuyahoga County 1992 <br />Crack and Joint Seal Program is hereby given relative to the crack <br />sealing and minor pavement repair of Ridgebury Road from Mayfield <br />West Line to the Mayfield East Corporation Line and Wilson Mills <br />Road from S.O.M. Center- Road to the Village of Mayfield East <br />Corporation Line pursuant to the terms and conditions of the <br />Cuyahoga County Crack and Joint Seal Program wherein it is <br />recognized that the Village will be responsible for payment of <br />twenty percent (20%) of the construction costs and forty percent <br />(40%) of the engineering costs for a total estimated cost to the <br />Village of Two Thousand Eight Hundred ($2,800.00) <br />SECTION 2. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized to <br />execute any aqreements with Cuyahoga County relative to this Crack <br />and Joint Seal Program subsequent to review by the Village <br />Engineer. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
