RESOLUTION NO. 2006-16 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF MARY E. BETSA, AS CLERK OF COUNCIL BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The appointment of Mary E. Betsa as Clerk of Council for Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby confirmed subject to the terms and conditions hereinafter established. SECTION 2. As Clerk of Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, Mary E. Betsa shall be responsible for all support duties concerning Village Council. She shall furthermore perform all duties as specified in the Charter and Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield and as determined by Council. SECTION 3. Mary E. Betsa will serve as Clerk of Council effective September 24, 2006 through December 3 1, 2007. SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 5. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) s-.
