ORDINANCE NO. 2006-14 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 137.02 <br />OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE <br />CREATING A SEPARATE PETTY CASH FUND FOR THE <br />SERVICE AND BUILDING DEPARTMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Codified Ordinance Section 137.02(a), a petty cash fund <br />was established in the Service Department and Building Department in the total sum of <br />$100.00; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to separate and create two distinct petty cash funds, <br />one for the Service Department and one for the Building Department, each in the amount <br />of $100.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 137.02 of the Codified Ordinances, subsection (a), is hereby <br />and herein amended to read as follows: <br />137.02 PETTY CASH FUND <br />I <br />(a) In accordance with all requirements imposed by the State of Ohio, there +s <br />are hereby established a Petty Cash Funds in the Service Department and Building <br />Department in the amount of $100.00 each, to be disbursed, accounted for, and replaced <br />in accordance with all applicable provisions of law, in the total initial amount of $100.09, <br />200.00. <br />SECTION 2. The rest and remainder of Section 137.02 shall remain in full force and <br />effect. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this <br />Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio.
