133.03 ADMINISTRATNE_CODE 32 <br />(4) Police Flash Account: Chief of Police. <br />(5) Investigative Flash Account: Detective assigned by the Chief of Police. (6) Clerk of Council Office: Clerk of Council. <br />(7) Recreation Committee: Recreation Treasurer. <br />(8) Activities Committee: Clerk of Council. <br />(9) Summer Camp: Assistant Finance Director. <br />(10) Commission on Aging: Director of the Commission on Aging. <br />(11) Fire Department: Secretary to Fire Chief. <br />(12) Building Department: Secretary to the Building Commissioner. <br />The Custodian shall assure that the petty cash is kept in a safe place. <br />(d) The above authorized amount under subsection (b) hereof shall be accounted for <br />in the General Fund and is a Balance Sheet account for the General Fund. <br />(e) The Director of Finance is to maintain a record of the custodians for the various <br />Periy Cash Accounts and is authorized to perform periodic audit reviews concerning the amount <br />and reconciled items held by the custodians. <br />( fl The above authorized amount of two thousand seven hundred dollars ($2,700) shall <br />be accounted for in the General Fund and is a Balance Sheet account for the General Fund. <br />(Ord. 91-29. Passed 5-22-06.) <br />133.03 AUTHORIZED SIGNATURES. <br />(a) All checks and withdrawal slips on bank accounts of the Municipality shall be <br />signed by either the Finance Director or the Assistant Finance Director, and either the Mayor or <br />the President of Council, or, if both the Mayor and President of Council are unavailable, then <br />either the Administrative Assistant or the Secretary to the Mayor, provided that the Mayor has <br />designated, in writing, one of the aforementioned to sign on his behalf. <br />(Ord. 84-21. Passed 5-21-84.) <br />(b) No signature required by subsection (a) hereof shall be affixed to a check or <br />withdrawal slip unless specifically authorized in writing by signature or initials of the Director <br />of Law or an Assistant Director of Law. No person, firm or corporation dealing with the <br />Municipality shall be required to inquire into the validiry of such signatures, the liability created <br />herein being personal to any person affixing a signature in violation of this subsection. <br />(Res. 80-16. Passed 3-25-80.) <br />133.04 FIRE DAMAGED STRUCTURE; REMOVAL OR REPAIR SECURING <br />FUND. <br />The Municipality hereby authorizes the procedure described in Ohio R.C. 3929.86 (c) and <br />(d) to be implemented whereby no insurance company doing business in the State shall pay a claim <br />of a named insured for fire damage to a structure located within this Municipality unless there has <br />been full compliance with the applicable provisions of Ohio R.C. 3929.86. The Director of <br />Finance is hereby designated as the officer authorized to carry out the duties of Ohio R.C. <br />3929.86. The Clerk of Council shall file a certified copy of this section with the State <br />Superintendent of Insurance. rd. 87-12. Passed 11-23-87.) <br />133.05 INVESTMENT INTEREST CREDITED. <br />All interest earned by the investment of pooled cash or other resources of the Municipality <br />shall be credited to the General Fund to be used to finance the general services of the <br />Municipality.
