- I <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2006-3 8 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2006-10 <br />ESTABLISHING THE PARKVIEW SWIlVIlVIING POOL EMPLOYEES SALARY <br />FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2006 SEASON. <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Director has recommended a salary range, <br />per hour, for certain positions that will be used in servicing the Parkview Swimming Pool <br />in the Village of Mayfield during the 2006 pool season; and <br />WHERAS, it has come to the attention of the Director that adjustments to certain <br />salary ranges are necessary so as to retain the appropriate staff for the extended season <br />through Labor Day. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VII,LAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the following positions and salary ranges, per hour, are <br />established for the extended 2006 pool season from August 18, 2006 through September <br />4, 2006 at the Parkview Swimming Pool in the Village of Mayfield be amended as <br />follows: <br />POSITION: SALARY RANGE / PER HOUR <br />Pool Manager $12.00 - !?.80 -18.00 <br />Assistant Pool Manager $10.00 - 15.00 <br />Snack Bar Manager $10.00 - 16.9917.50 <br />Snack Bar Supervisor $ 9.00 -12.00 <br />Leam to Swim Coordinator $ 8.00 -?.?99 13.75 <br />Head Lifeguard $ 8.00 -12.00 <br />Lifeguard $ 7.00 - 19:-0911.35 <br />Lifeguard with WSI (Water Safety Instructor) $ 8.00 --12.-A9 13.75 <br />Head Cashier $ 8.00 - 12.00 <br />Cashier $ 6.00 - 8.00 <br />Checker/Pool Attendant $ 5.50 - 9.00 <br />Pool Maintenance $ 5.50 - 9:0910.75 <br />Snack Bar Attendant $ 5.50 -}:9A- 9.50 <br />Head Coach $350.00 - 700.00 per season <br />Assistant Coach $300.00 - 500.00 per season <br />Special Program Water Instructor $200.00 - per season or <br /> negotiable <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this C ouncil and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code.
