Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />~~~ <br />A RESOLUT/ON/N TR/BUTE?O <br />ROBERTPATR/CKBAKER <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker honorably served his country in'the Army; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker attended Chardon High School and while a student, was class Vice- <br />President and Class Honorarian; <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker attended Bowling Green State University and while a student, was <br />Treasurer and Vice-President of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker taught business and accounting at Roger Bacon-High School; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker initially served as Treasurer to the Kenston Local Schools; and <br />a WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker thenembazked on a: cazeer, serving as the Treasurer for the Mayfield <br />City School District for 28 years; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker loved participating in sports and outside activities, excelling in <br />basketball. and track. He was a first team Western Reserve Team Basketball Selection and anAll-Geauga <br />County Basketball Team Selection and the track team MVP while attending Chardon High School. <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker chose to pass along his talents as a basketball player to the youth, <br />dedicating time as a basketball coach at the West End YMCA. ' <br />WHEREAS, for 35 yeazs, Robert Patrick Baker shared his life with his wife, Janis; and <br />WHEREAS, Robert Patrick Baker was a devoted father-to Keith and Brian; and <br />WHEREAS, the pride Robert Patrick Baker had in his sons, his commitment to family, friends, his <br />community and his country cannot be compazed; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TSE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO THAT: <br />Robert Patrick faker be and is hereby recognized for his devoted service to Mayfield Village. <br />Section 1. The Mayor and Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, on behalf of the entire <br />administration; employees and residents of the municipality, are proud to express their sincere appreciation to <br />Robert Patrick Baker. <br />Section 2. The- Clerk of Council is hereby authorized and drrected to prepaze duplicate .original <br />copies of the Resolution: One such- original shall be presented to the family of Robert Patrick Baker.
