ORDINANCE NO. 96-24 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUILDING CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, SECTION 1309.05, RELATIVE TO PERMIT FEES, AND SECTION 1335.01 RELATIVE TO THE 1996 ADDITION OF THE B.O.C.A. NATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE WHEREAS, the Ordinance Review Committee has recommended certain amendments to the Building Code of the Village of Mayfield as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed these recommendations and has also recommended their adoption. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That Section 1309.05 of the Codified Ordinances is hereby and herein amended to include two additional subsection fees as follows: 1309.05 PERMIT FEES. The following schedule of permit fees shall be used where the total lump sum fees do not apply: * * * (g) Miscellaneous Permits. * * * (21) Temporary Signs $ 2.00 (22) Political Sign Deposit $100.00 SECTION 2. That Section 1335.01 of the Codified Ordinances is hereby and herein amended as follows: 1335.01 ADOPTION; TITLE; PURPOSE AND APPLICATION. (a) There is hereby adopted as the Exterior Maintenance Code of Mayfield Village "The BOCA National Property Maintenance Code", Feur-th Fifth Edition, 4:9-93 1996, as published by the Building Officials and Code Administrators, International, Inc. for the control of property, buildings and structures as herein provided; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions, and terms of said BOCA National Property Maintenance Code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions, and changes, if any, prescribed in Section 1335.03. SECTION 3. That the rest and remainder of Chapters 1309 and 1335 shall remain in full force and effect.
