ORDINANCE NO. 96-32 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $31,027.50 TO BOND ENTERPRISES FOR THE REGRADING OF DITCHES AND MINOR STORM SEWER REPAIRS IN THE WORTON PARK AREA WHEREAS, the Village has advertised for bids for performing certain regrading of ditches and minor storm sewer repairs in the Worton Park area; and WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid was that of Bond Enterprises pursuant to their quote on file with the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and directed to enter into an agreement with Bond Enterprises for the regrading of ditches and minor storm sewer repair in the Worton Park area, for an amount not to exceed $31,027.50. SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized to make payment as indicated in Section out of the appropriate account of the Village. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
