ORDINANCE NO. 96-32 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF $31,027.50 TO BOND <br />ENTERPRISES FOR THE REGRADING OF DITCHES AND MINOR <br />STORM SEWER REPAIRS IN THE WORTON PARK AREA <br />WHEREAS, the Village has advertised for bids for performing <br />certain regrading of ditches and minor storm sewer repairs in the <br />Worton Park area; and <br />WHEREAS, the lowest and best bid was that of Bond Enterprises <br />pursuant to their quote on file with the Village. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby and herein authorized and <br />directed to enter into an agreement with Bond Enterprises for the <br />regrading of ditches and minor storm sewer repair in the Worton <br />Park area, for an amount not to exceed $31,027.50. <br />SECTION 2. The Director of Finance is authorized to make <br />payment as indicated in Section out of the appropriate account of <br />the Village. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance <br />have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that <br />deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in <br />compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the <br />further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
