Ordinance 97-2 <br />Section 3 The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw warrants for payment for any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving the proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approval by the Council of <br />Mayfield Village or off cers authorized by law to approve the same, or by ordinance or Resolution of Council <br />to make expenditures, provided that no warrant be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinances. <br />Section 4: The Director of Finance, at any time during calendar year 1997, is further authorized to: <br />A. Transfer from the General Fund to the Recreation Fund the sum of Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00); <br />and <br />B. Transfer from the General Fund to the Community Room Fund the sum of Ten Thousand Dollars <br />($5,000.00); and <br />C. Transfer from the General Fund to the Sewer Relief Fund the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars <br />($100,000); and <br />D. Transfer from the Recreation Fund to the Scholarship Fund the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00); <br />and <br />E. Return to the General Fund from the Norton Park Sewer Project an earlier advance of Fifteen Thousand <br />Dollars ($15,000.00); and <br />F. Return to the General Fund from the Recreation Fund an earlier advance of Four Thousand Dollars <br />($4,000.00). <br />Section 5 The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of <br />this Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with <br />all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />Section 6: This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate <br />preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that the <br />appropriations authorized herein are necessary to maintain governmental services. It shall, therefore, take effect <br />immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and <br />approval by the Mayor or otherw ise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />Page 5 of 6 <br />
