ORDINANCE NO. 97- 04 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 131.05(c) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES <br />OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ESTABLISHING THE <br />COMPENSATION OF HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR FOR 1997 AND <br />REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Existing Subsection 131.05(c) of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, is hereby amended by increasing the compensation of the Human Services <br />Director so that the new Subsection 131.05(c) will read as follows: <br />(c) The Human Services Director shall be paid a salary of $11,356.80 per <br />annum, for a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week. The Human <br />Services Director shall be a part-time position and such person shall not be <br />eligible for employment benefits accorded tofull-time employees of Mayfield <br />Village. <br />SECTION 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinances, in whole or in <br />part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have. been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio, and for the further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
