ORDINANCE NO. 97- 04 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 131.05(c) OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION OF HUMAN SERVICES DIRECTOR FOR 1997 AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Existing Subsection 131.05(c) of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, is hereby amended by increasing the compensation of the Human Services Director so that the new Subsection 131.05(c) will read as follows: (c) The Human Services Director shall be paid a salary of $11,356.80 per annum, for a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week. The Human Services Director shall be a part-time position and such person shall not be eligible for employment benefits accorded tofull-time employees of Mayfield Village. SECTION 2. All prior ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinances, in whole or in part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with this Ordinance. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have. been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, and for the further reasons set forth in the preamble hereof.
