Ordinance 97-29 <br />Second Class Firefighter <br />Following N.F.P.A. 1001 as a guideline for competence, this position would be available to a candidate twenty- <br />four (24) months from the time of appointment to the Fire Department. <br />Third Class Firefighter <br />Following N.F.P.A. 1001 as a guideline for competence, this position would be available to a candidate twelve <br />(12) months from the time of appointment to the Fire Department. <br />Fourth Class Firef ghter <br />Following N.F.P.A. 1001 as a guideline for competence, this position would be available to a candidate six (6) <br />months from the time of appointment to the Fire Department. <br />(f) Part-Time Firefighter Call-Pay Schedule <br />Part-time firefighters shall be paid a minimum of one (1) hour compensation for call out which will be paid at <br />the First Hour rate set forth in the call-pay schedule below: <br /> 1997 1998 1999 <br />Captain First Hour $25.97 $27.01 $28.09 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $16.09 $16.73 $17.40 <br />First Class Firefighter First Hour $18.39 $19.12 $19.89 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $11.70 $12.17 $12.65 <br />With Paramedic Certificate First Hour $21.92 $22.80 $23.71 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $13.88 $14.44 $15.02 <br />Second Class Firefighter First Hour $16.54 $17.20 $17.89 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $9.98 $10.38 $10.80 <br />Third Class Firefighter First Hour $14.71 $15.29 $15.91 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $7.63 $7.94 $8.26 <br />Fourth Class Firefighter First Hour $13.79 $14.34 $14.92 <br />Every Hour Thereafter $6.47 $6.73 $7.00 <br />(g) The Village shall, in addition to the foregoing compensation for members of the Fire Department, provide <br />accident insurance through the State Fireman's Association and the premiums thereof. <br />Page 5 of 17 <br />
