RESOLUTION NO. 97- 11 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a V1lhole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />EXTENDING THE SPECIAL USE PERMIT GRANTED TO THE <br />MAYFIELD UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FOR AN ADDITIONAL <br />THREE YEARS <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council granted a special use permit on October 21, 1991, <br />to the Mayfield United Methodist Church for a program now known as the "Open Arms <br />Preschool"; and <br />WHEREAS, the special use permit will expire on October 21, 1997; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to extend the special use permit granted <br />by Resolution No. 91-96 for an additional three (3) years under the same terms and <br />conditions as the original Fiesolution. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD <br />VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the special use permit granted to the Mayfield United IVlethodist <br />Church for its Open Arms Preschool, formerly known as the "Mothers Day Out Program", <br />is hereby and herein extended for an additional three (3) years, upon the same terms and <br />conditions as set forth in Resolution No. 91-96, which are incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br />SECTIO(V 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such <br />formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all statutory <br />requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents of fVlayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage <br />by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval <br />by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law. <br />ffl-ft/-Z?2& <br />ARK IXLER, <br />Council President
