RESOLUTION NO. 97- 20 <br />INTRODU.CED BY: Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />APPROVING A LOT SPLIT AND CONSOLIDATION <br />PLAT FOR PROGRESSIVE CASUALTY INSURANCE COMPANY <br />FOR PERMANENT PARCEL NOS. 831-11-009, 831-11-008, <br />AND 831-13-015, RELATIVE TO THEIR PROPERTY AT 6671 BETA DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, the voters have approved the rezoning of certain properly to the rear <br />of 6671 Beta Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, there has been a sale of portions of permanent parcels to Progressive <br />which they desire to consolidate with their own permanent parcel number; and <br />WHEREAS, in the interest of justice and for the protection of the health, safety and <br />welfare of the citizens of this community, it is Council's desire to approve the lot split and <br />consolidation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, <br />OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. That the splitting of Permanent Parcel Nos. 831-11-009 and 831-11- <br />, 008, as indicated in the attached plat, and the consolidation of a portion of these parcels <br />with Permanent Parcel No. 831-13-015, as indicated in the attached plat, is hereby and <br />herein approved. Said plat indicating the split and consolidation is attached hereto and <br />incorporated herein as Exhibit "A", and the resulting legal descriptions for the three <br />parcels after the split and consolidation is attached hereto and incorporated herein as <br />Exhibits "B", "C", and "D". <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of the <br />Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings oi <br />this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in <br />such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public in compliance with all <br />statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the <br />residents of Mayfield Village. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon passage <br />by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval <br />by the Mayor or otherwise at the earliest time allowed by law.
