ORDINANCE N0. 90-6 <br />Page -3- <br />The Director of Finance is authorized and directed to draw warrants for <br />payment upon receiving the proper certificates and vouchers therefor, approval <br />by the Council of Mayfield Village or officers authorized by law to approve <br />the same, or by Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make expenditures, <br />provided that no warrant be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to <br />persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to draw warrants <br />for payment of any of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving the proper <br />certificates and vouchers therefor, approval by the Council of Mayfield <br />Village or officers authorized by law to approve the same, or by Ordinance or <br />Resolution of Council to make expenditures, provided that no warrant be drawn <br />or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and <br />in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />SECTION 4. The Director of Finance, at any time during calendar year <br />1990, is further authorized to: <br />A. Transfer from the General Fund to the Recreation Fund <br />the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00); and <br />B. Transfer from the General Fund to the Beech Hill Fund <br />the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00). <br />SECTION 5. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 6. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that the appropriations <br />authorized herein are necessary to maintain governmental services. It shall, <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not <br />less than five (5) members elected to Council and approval by the Mayor or <br />
