OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCE OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, PERTAINING TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND THE POSITIONS ESTABLISHED THEREIN AND DECLARING AND EMERGENCY BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. Existing Section 141.01 of the Codified Ordinance of Mayfield Village, Ohio, entitled."Department and Positions Established" is hereby amended by re-establishing the positions within the Fire Department so that. the amended Section 141.01 will now read as follows: (Deleted material appears like ~l~is and new material appears like THIS). Chapter 141 Fire Department ..iw.® _~.,,~ 141.01 DEPARTMENT AND POSITIONS ESTABLISHED. (a) There is hereby established a uc~lunt,,a~r Fire Department for the Municipality. (b) The Village Fire Department shall consist of a full-time Chief, three Bart=.:t~~ FULL TIME Lieutenants, full-time firemen, a part-time Captain, and not more than thirty part-time firemen. (c) Full-time service shall require not less than forty hours of service per week, as scheduled by the Chief. Part-time service shall include payment to part-time personnel for the fire calls, emergency calls, fire station duty and drills. Fire drills shall not exceed forty-eight in any calendar year. (d) The Chief shall certify the performance of all part-time service by part-time firemen to the Finance Director. (e) All fire calls and emergency calls shall be deemed to commence and terminate at the time appearing in the Fire Department log. (f) The Finance Director is authorized to compensate all part-time Fire Department personnel, as may be authorized from time to time by ordinance upon receipt of the certification prescribed by subsection (d) hereof. (g) All appointments or removal of any member of the Fire Department '~ shall be pursuant to the Charter and applicable rules of the Civil Service
