04/16/90 <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90-18 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Aiayor Carmen and Council. as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 351.03 OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />REGULATING PARKING ON A PUBLIC OR PRIVATE <br />PARKING LOT AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL. OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OIiLO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 351.03 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Vil- <br />lage, Ohio, is hereby amended by adding new subsections (jj) and (kk) that <br />regulate parking on a public or private parking lot so that New Section <br />351.03(jj) and 351.03(kk) shall read as follows: <br />Chapter 351 <br />Parking Generally <br />351.03 Prohibited. Standing or Parking. Places. <br />No person shall stand or park a vehicle, except. when necessary to avoid <br />conf lict with other traffic or to comply with the provisions of this Traffic <br />Code, or while obeying the directions of a police office or a traffic control <br />device, in any of the following places: <br />(jj) In a public or private. parking lot in such. a manner <br />as to block the ingress or egress of any motor <br />vehicle. <br />(kk) In a public or private parking lot in such a manner <br />that the vehicle would not be entirely within the. <br />limits of the space designated by marked lines on the <br />surface. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal. actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption. of this Ordinance have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council= and that deliberations of this Council. and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
