AND URBAN SEDIMENT POLLUTION ABATEMENT RULES. ~~, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, Village Engineer Stephen J. Hovancsek has recommended that Mayfield Village adopt the Stormwater Management and Urban Sediment Pollution Abatement Study; and WHEREAS, The Council of Mayfield Village desires to adopt the Stormwater Management and Urban Se~.ent Pollution Abatement Rules and require all new construction in Mayfield ,illage, to be in compliance with these Rules. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE., OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. That Part 11, Planning.and Zoning Code, of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village is~l}ereby amended to include Chapter 1127, Stormwater Management and Urban SedRiment Pollution Abatement. Rules, as a newly enacted Chapter of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village which shall read as provided for ,in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof. SECTION 2. All new construction iniMayfield.Village shall be in compli- ance with these Rules. 1 SECTION 3. The Council.finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of thi's Ordinance have been taken at open meetings of this Council.; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal.. action., took place in meetings. open. to the public, in compliance with all statutor}~ requirements- including the requirements of Section 121.22.. of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This Ordinance is hereby declared;to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the Health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the`~~reason that it is immedi- ately necessary to adopt this new Chapter to provide''~for the. orderly develop- ment of Mayfield-Village. It shall.,. therefore, take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) members elected- .
