6/18/90 <br />ORDINANCE N0. 90- 27 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING SECTION 173.10 OF THE <br />CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, <br />PERTAINING TO THE INCREASE OF FEES FOR <br />A CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION FOR <br />PLACES ASSESSING AN ADMISSION CHARGE <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. Section 173.10 of the Codified Ordinance of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, is hereby amended by increasing the fee for a Certificate of Registra- <br />tion for places assessing an admission charge, so that new Section 173.10 <br />shall read as follows: (Deleted material appears like-t-~s and new material <br />appears like THIS) <br />Chapter 173 <br />Admissions Tax <br />4r .. .. <br />173.10 CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION. <br />Any person conducting or operating any place for <br />entrance to which an admission charge is made shall, <br />on a form prescribed by the Village Tax Collector, make <br />application to and. procure a certificate of registration, <br />the fee for which shall be ~t~e~--d~l-lars2~°(:#}~) TWENTY <br />DOLLARS ($20.00) and which certificate shall continue <br />valid until December 31 in the year in which it was <br />issued. Such certificate of registration, or duplicate <br />original copies thereof to be issued by the Village Tax <br />Collector without additional charge, shall be posted <br />in a conspicuous place in each ticket or box office where <br />tickets of admission are sold. <br />SECTION 2. All prior Ordinances inconsistent with this Ordinance, in <br />whole or in part, are repealed to the extent necessary to avoid conflict with <br />this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been. taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />
