M.V. ORDINANCE N0. 90- 42 <br />Page -5- <br />Resolution of Council to make expenditures, provided that no warrant be drawn <br />or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by .authority of and <br />in accordance with law or ordinance. <br />SECTION 4. The Director of Finance, at any time during calendar year <br />1990, is further authorized. to: <br />A. Transfer from the General Fund to the Recreation Fund <br />the sum of Nineteen Thousand Dollars ($19,000.00); and <br />B. Transfer from the General Fund to the Beech Hill Fund <br />the sum of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00). <br />C. Transfer from the General Fund to the Capital. Improvement <br />Fund the sum of Thirty Two Thousand Dollars ($32,000.00). <br />SECTION 5. Ordinance No. 90-38 is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />SECTION 6. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Ordinance have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council.; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 7. This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents of Mayfield Village for the reason that the appropriations <br />authorized herein are necessary to maintain governmental services.. It shall, <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not <br />less than five (5) members elected to Council and. approval by the Mayor or <br />otherwise at .the earliest time allowed by law. <br />LILL M.
