RESOLUTION N0. 90-22 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING NORTH COAST ROOFING <br />TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE <br />ROOFING ON THE JOHN D. RELIC SERVICE BUILDING, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH NORTH COAST ROOFING COMPANY <br />IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FORTY-THREE THOUSAND <br />SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS ($43,700.00) REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1: In accordance with bids received, pursuant to advertisement <br />as required by law, North Coast Roofing Company hereby declared to be the <br />lowest and best bidder for the roofing on the John D. Relic Service Building <br />in Mayfield Village, Ohio. <br />SECTION 2: The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized <br />and directed to execute a contract with North Coast Roofing Company for the <br />roofing on the John D. Relic. Service Building in an amount of Forty-Three <br />Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($43,700.00). The Contract awarded shall be in <br />a form approved by the Director of Law, in accordance with the specifications <br />upon which the bid was received. <br />SECTION 3: All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />SECTION 4: The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5: This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health, safety and welfare of <br />the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the Contract <br />awarded herein is necessary to preserve Municipal property. It shall, <br />therefore, take effect immediately upon passage by the affirmative vote of not <br />
