RESOLUTION N0. 90- 24 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING TONY LARICHE CHEVROLET, <br />TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR <br />THE SALE TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF A <br />1991 CHEVROLET CAPRICE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED <br />FOURTEEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED SEVENTY-FOUR DOLLARS <br />FIFTY-FOUR CENTS ($14,774.54), AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR SAID VEHICLE, <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to advertisement as <br />required by law, Tony LaRiche Chevrolet is hereby declared to be the lowest <br />and best bidder for the sale to the Municipality of a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice. <br />SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized and <br />-- directed to execute a purchase agreement with Tony LaRiche Chevrolet in an <br />amount not the exceed Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Seventy-Four Dollars <br />Fifty-Four Cents ($14,774.54) provided that such purchase agreement is in <br />accordance with the specifications upon which bid was received. <br />SECTION 3. All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and. determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the purchase made herein is <br />necessary to maintain effective governmental services. It shall, therefore, <br />take effect immediately upon the passage by the affirmative vote of not less <br />
