6/18/90 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90- 40 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />RATIFYING THE PAYMENT OF THREE. THOUSAND NINE <br />HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($3,950.00) TO DYNAMIC <br />DISPLAY FOR THE PARADE BALLOON FOR THE <br />1990 HAYFIELD VILLAGE DAYS <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, it was necessary to arrange and contract for the parade balloon <br />for the 1990 Mayfield Village Days Parade; and <br />WHEREAS, said service is only available from a limited number of <br />reputable suppliers; <br />WHEREAS, such contract was offset by donations from local businesses and <br />merchants in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00); and <br />WHEREAS, Dynamic Displays agreed to provide for the rental of the parade <br />balloon for the 1989 Mayfield Village Days for a total amount of Three <br />Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,950.00); now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council ratifies the payment of Three Thousand Nine <br />Hundred Fifty Dollars ($3,950.00) to Dynamic Displays for the parade balloon <br />for the 1990 Mayfield Village Days. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />
