RESOLUTION N0. 90-47 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF UNNEEDED MUNICTPAL <br />VEHICLES AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Service Department had determined that there are several <br />motor vehicles that are no longer needed for Municipal purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 121.10 of the Codified Ordinances of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, such equipment can only be sold with the expressed <br />permission of Council; and <br />WHEREAS, after obtaining such permission of Council the sale of said <br />vehicles was advertised for two (2) consecutive weeks in order to obtain the <br />highest and best bid; and <br />WHEREAS, Council is desirous of selling the unneeded Municipal motor <br />vehicles to the highest and best bidder; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio hereby authorizes the <br />Finance Director to sell the following Municipal vehicles to the highest and <br />best bidder: <br />A. 1982 GMC One Ton Dump Truck to Alpha Diesel in the amount of <br />Three Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($3,875.00). <br />B. 1973 One and Half Ton International Dump Truck to <br />Neyman-Shrefler in the amount of Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars <br />($850.00). <br />C. 1975 Ford Packer Truck and Leaf Machine to Alpha Diesel in the <br />amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($1,350.00). <br />D. 1979 Two Ton International Snow Plow Truck to Neyman-Shrefler <br />in the amount of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Sixty Dollars <br />($2,760.00). <br />SECTION Z. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />
