8/ 27/90 <br />RESOLUTION N0. 90- 54 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen & Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING AERO-MARK INC. TO BE <br />THE LOWEST AND BEST BID FOR THE <br />STRIPING OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY, <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SAID BIDDER <br />IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TEN THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED <br />SEVENTY DOLLARS AND FIFTY-FIVE CENTS ($10,270.55) AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. In accordance with bids received, pursuant to advertisement <br />as required by law, Aero-Mark Inc., is hereby declared to be the lowest and <br />best bid for the striping of certain streets within the municipality. <br />SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into a contract with Aero-Mark Inc. in an amount not to <br />exceed Ten Thousand Two Hundred Seventy Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents <br />($10,270,55) for the aforesaid project provided that said contract is in <br />accordance with the specifications upon which the bid was. received. <br />SECTION 3. All other bids received are hereby rejected. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of <br />this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at <br />open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of <br />its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements. including the <br />requirements of Section 121.22. of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 5: This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the health,. safety and welfare <br />of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that the contract <br />authorized herein is necessary to maintain effective traffic control through- <br />out the municipality. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the <br />
