NUNC PRO TUNC <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-63 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING CLASSIC CHEVROLET, <br />TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR <br />THE PURCHASE OF A 1991 CHEVROLET CAPRICE <br />FOUR DOOR STATION WAGON IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED <br />SIXTEEN THOUSAND ONE HiTNDRED THIRTY TWO DOLLARS <br />EIGHT CENTS ($16,132.08) LESS TRADE-IN, AUTHORIZING <br />.THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL <br />TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR SAID VEHICLE, <br />REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to <br />advertisement as required by law, Classic Chevrolet is hereby <br />declared to be the lowest and best bidder for the purchase of a <br />1991 Chevrolet Caprice Four Door Station Wagon. <br />SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Classic <br />Chevrolet in an amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand One Hundred <br />Thirty-Two Dollars Eight Cents ($16,132.08) less the trade-in of <br />a 1986 Chevrolet Classic Station Wagon in the amount of Four <br />Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00), for a net amount of Twelve Thousand <br />One Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars and Eight Cents ($12,132.08), <br />provided that such contract is in accordance with the <br />specifications upon which bid was received. <br />SECTION 3. All other bids hereby received are rejected. <br />SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />
