NUNC PRO TUNC RESOLUTION NO. 90-63 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION DECLARING CLASSIC CHEVROLET, TO BE THE LOWEST AND BEST BIDDER FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 1991 CHEVROLET CAPRICE FOUR DOOR STATION WAGON IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SIXTEEN THOUSAND ONE HiTNDRED THIRTY TWO DOLLARS EIGHT CENTS ($16,132.08) LESS TRADE-IN, AUTHORIZING .THE MAYOR AND PRESIDENT OF COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR SAID VEHICLE, REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS RECEIVED AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. In accordance with bids received pursuant to advertisement as required by law, Classic Chevrolet is hereby declared to be the lowest and best bidder for the purchase of a 1991 Chevrolet Caprice Four Door Station Wagon. SECTION 2. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Classic Chevrolet in an amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand One Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars Eight Cents ($16,132.08) less the trade-in of a 1986 Chevrolet Classic Station Wagon in the amount of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00), for a net amount of Twelve Thousand One Hundred Thirty-Two Dollars and Eight Cents ($12,132.08), provided that such contract is in accordance with the specifications upon which bid was received. SECTION 3. All other bids hereby received are rejected. SECTION 4. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
