RESOLUTION NO. 90-80 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CUYAHOGA COUNTY TREASURER TO ADVANCE TAXES FROM THE PROCEEDS OF TAX LEVIES FOR COLLECTION YEAR 1991, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, Section 321.34 of the Ohio Revised Code provides that money in a County Treasurer to the account of a local authority and lawfully applicable to the purpose of the current fiscal year may be withdrawn by a municipality upon the proper request; and WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that sound fiscal policy requires that such withdrawal be requested from the Cuyahoga County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Cuyahoga County Auditor be and is hereby requested to draw warrants and the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County be and is hereby requested to pay the Village of Mayfield all monies presently being held in the Cuyahoga County Treasury to the account of the Village of Mayfield, lawfully applicable to the purpose of the fiscal year 1991. SECTION 2. The Clerk be and is hereby authorized and directed immediately to forward a copy of this Resolution to the Cuyahoga County Auditor and the Cuyahoga County Treasurer. SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. SECTION 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the
