i/21/91 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-06 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />RATIFYING THE ACTION OF COUNCIL IN AWARDING A <br />CONTRACT TO MARSHALL FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />FIFTEEN THOIISAND THREE HUNDRED TWELVE ($15,312.00) <br />FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) POLICE CAR AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village wishes to purchase one (1) police <br />car with the specifications comparable to the other police cars <br />already in operation; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council were informed by the Police <br />Chief that such a vehicle was available only for a limited period <br />of time; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council authorized the Police Chief <br />to purchase said vehicle on an emergency basis; and <br />WHEREAS, Mayfield Village had an immediate need for the <br />purchase of one (1) police car and in accordance with <br />specifications comparable to the other police vehicles; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio hereby <br />ratifies its action of January 14, 1991, authorizing the Mayor <br />and President of Council to enter into a purchase agreement with <br />Marshall Ford in the amount not to exceed Fifteen Thousand Three <br />Hundred Twelve Dollars ($15,312.00) provided that said purchase <br />agreement is in accordance with the specifications which are <br />comparable with the other police vehicles now in the possession <br />of Village. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public,. in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />
