i/21/91 RESOLUTION NO. 91-06 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION RATIFYING THE ACTION OF COUNCIL IN AWARDING A CONTRACT TO MARSHALL FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN THOIISAND THREE HUNDRED TWELVE ($15,312.00) FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) POLICE CAR AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, Mayfield Village wishes to purchase one (1) police car with the specifications comparable to the other police cars already in operation; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council were informed by the Police Chief that such a vehicle was available only for a limited period of time; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council authorized the Police Chief to purchase said vehicle on an emergency basis; and WHEREAS, Mayfield Village had an immediate need for the purchase of one (1) police car and in accordance with specifications comparable to the other police vehicles; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio hereby ratifies its action of January 14, 1991, authorizing the Mayor and President of Council to enter into a purchase agreement with Marshall Ford in the amount not to exceed Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred Twelve Dollars ($15,312.00) provided that said purchase agreement is in accordance with the specifications which are comparable with the other police vehicles now in the possession of Village. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public,. in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code.
