2/4/91 See amended page one RESOLUTION NO. 91-14 ~~~.INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL TO EXECUTE A"PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) POLICE CAR WITH MARSHALL FORD IN THE AMOUNT OF SIXTEEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED EIGHTY-ONE ($16,381.00) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY WHEREAS, ..Mayfield Village wishes to purchase a police car with the specifications comparable to the other police cars already in operation; and ~,. WHEREAS, the~Mayor and Council were informed by the Police Chief that such a vehi:;cle was available only from one (1) supplier; and WHEREAS, Mayfield Vi1~lage had an immediate need for the purchase of one~(1) police c`~r and in accordance with specifications comparable to the other police vehicles; now, therefore, '•~~ •` BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council is hereby authorized to enter into a purchase agreement with Marshall Ford in the amount not to exceed Sixteen Tho~s~and Three Hundred Eighty-One Dollars ($16,381.00) provided that said purchase agreement is in accordance with the specifications which are comparable with the other police vehicles riow in the possession of Village. SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council relating to the ad~~ption of this Resolution have, been taken at open meetings of this,, Council; and that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio, Revised Code. \ SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be~'~.an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield ~-' Village, Ohio, for the reason that the purchase authorized herein
