2/4/91 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-15 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION <br />OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN THE MUNICIPALITY AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 90-29, the Mayfield Village <br />Council authorized a total amount of One Hundred Seventeen <br />Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($117,880.00) to A & J Cement <br />Contractors, Inc. for the reconstruction of certain streets <br />within the Municipality; and <br />WHEREAS, additional reconstruction was necessary at an <br />additional cost of Two Thousand Fourteen Dollars and Eighty Cents <br />($2,014.80) that was requested by the Village Engineer in order <br />to complete such reconstruction; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor and President of Council are hereby <br />authorized to enter into a change order for an additional amount <br />of Two Thousand Fourteen Dollars and Eighty Cents ($2,014.80) <br />over and above the One Hundred Seventeen Thousand Eight Hundred <br />Eighty Dollars ($117,880.00) approved in Resolution 90-29, for a <br />total contract price of One Hundred Nineteen Thousand Eight <br />Hundred Ninety-Four Dollars and Eighty Cents ($119,894.80). <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all formal <br />actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the immediate <br />preservation of the health, safety and welfare of the residents <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason of the necessity of <br />entering into a change order with A & J Cement Contractors, Inc., <br />so that adequate funds for the completion of this project are <br />available. It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon the <br />
