RESOLUTION NO. 91-17 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF <br />TWO (2) RESIDENTS TO THE RECORDS COMMISSION, <br />DEFINING THEIR TERMS THEREON AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, on April 18, 1988, the Council of Mayfield Village <br />enacted Ordinance No. 88-8 that created a Records Commission <br />pursuant to Section 149.39 of the Ohio Revised Code; and <br />WHEREAS, two (2) residents of the Municipality were to <br />serve on such Commission until December 31, 1989; and <br />WHEREAS, subsequent members of the Commission were to be <br />appointed on or before January 1 of each even numbered, year for a <br />term of two (2) years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor appointed two (2) residents, to wit: <br />Shirley Flugan and Nancy Plastine to the Records Commission who <br />were confirmed by Council on November 19, 1990; and <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village to <br />define their terms on such commission as to be in compliance with <br />Chapter 157 of the Codified Ordinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Mayor's appointment of Shirley Flugan and <br />Nancy Plastine to the Records Commission is hereby confirmed. <br />Such appointees shall serve in such capacity until December 31, <br />1991, in accordance with Chapter 157 of the Codified Ordinances <br />of Mayfield Village, Ohio. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />
