RESOLUTION NO. 91-22 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING PAYMENT TO THE SUBURBAN POLICE <br />ANTI-CRIME NETWORK IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00) <br />FOR HAYFIELD VILLAGE'S CONTRIBUTION TO THE <br />1991 BUDGET AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Council previously authorized the Director of <br />Finance to pay Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) to <br />the Suburban Police Anti-Crime Network (hereinafter known as <br />SPAN) for Mayfield Village's contribution to the 1991 budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of Governments for SPAN requested an <br />additional Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500.00) from the <br />communities for the purchase of additional equipment; and <br />WHEREAS, the total amount of Mayfield Village's <br />contribution to the 1991 Budget of SPAN is Five Thousand Dollars <br />($5,000.00); now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to pay Suburban Police Anti-Crime Network the sum of <br />Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) as and for Mayfield Village's <br />contribution to the 1991 Budget of SPAN referred to herein <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open <br />to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure immediately necessary for the health, safety <br />and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the <br />reason that It shall, therefore, take effect immediately upon <br />the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) <br />
