6/17/91 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91- 55 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE <br />TO MARE PAYMENT TO LOVE INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. <br />IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED <br />NINE DOLLARS ($3,809.00) FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />PUBLIC OFFICIALS LIABILITY INSURANCE FROM <br />NATIONAL CASUALTY COMPANY FOR THE PERIOD <br />JULY 1, 1991, TO JUNE 30, 1992, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF HAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />SECTION 1. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to pay to Love Insurance Agency, Inc. the sum of <br />Three Thousand Eight Hundred Nine Dollars ($3,809.00) for the <br />purchase of public officials liability insurance from National <br />Casualty Company for the period of July 1, 1991, to June 30, <br />1992, in accordance with the proposal for such insurance made by <br />Love Insurance Agency, Inc. <br />SECTION 2. The Council finds and determines that all <br />formal actions of this Council relating to the adoption of this <br />Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, <br />resulting in such formal action, took place in meetings open to <br />the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements <br />including the requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised <br />Code. <br />SECTION 3. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />health, safety and welfare of the residents of Mayfield Village, <br />Ohio, for the reason that the insurance purchased herein is <br />necessary to protect the public officials in the execution of <br />their duties. It shall, there-fore, take effect immediately upon <br />the passage by the affirmative vote of not less than five (5) <br />
