*Repealed by-Res. 92-11 9/21./92 <br />.. ~ 1 <br />-.r <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-63 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING THE NECESSITY AND INTENTION TO APPRO- <br />PRIATE PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING <br />A PUBLIC PARK. <br />WHFRE_AS, the Council of the Village of Mayfield has deter- <br />mined that it is in the public interest to convert the Parkview Golf <br />Course to a municipal facility so as to continue to provide a recre- <br />ational outlet to the community; and <br />WFTRRF.AS~ this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure <br />necessary for the public health, safety and welfare; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF MAYFIELD, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. This Council considers it necessary and declares <br />its intention to appropriate for public park purposes, including a <br />municipal golf course, the fee simple interest in and to the following <br />described property: <br />Parcel No. 1 <br />Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga and <br />State of Ohio, and known as being part of Original Mayfield Township <br />Lot No. 5, Tract 1, and is further bounded and described as follows: <br />Beginning at the intersection of the center line of S.O.M. <br />Center Road (60 feet in width) and the Southerly line of the Midvale <br />Land Company's Fair Acres Subdivision as recorded in Volume 94 of <br />Maps, page 34 of Cuyahoga County Records. Thence South 1°18'00" East, <br />401.07 feet along the center line of S.O.M. Center Road to the princi- <br />pal place of beginning. Thence South 89°52'20" West, 383.25 feet; <br />Thence South 1°18'00" East, 113.69 feet; Thence North 89°52'20" East <br />383.25 feet, to the said center line of S.O.M. Center Road. Thence <br />North 1°18'00" West, 113.69 feet along the center line of S.O.M. <br />Center Road to the principal place of beginning, containing 1 acre of <br />land be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways. <br />Parcel No. 2 <br />Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga and <br />State of Ohio, and known as being parts of Original Mayfield Township <br />Lots Nos . 5 and 15 , Tract No . 1, and bounded and described as follows <br />__' <br />
