.r, :i ~:'+ y RESOLUTION NO. 91-63 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION DECLARING THE NECESSITY AND INTENTION TO APPRO- PRIATE PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC PARR. WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Mayfield has deter- mined that it is in the public interest to convert the Parkview Golf Course to a municipal facility so as to continue to provide a recre- ational outlet to the community; and WHF.RF.AS, this Resolution constitutes an emergency measure necessary for the public health, safety and welfare; NOW, THFRRFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF .THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. This Council considers it necessary and declares its intention to appropriate for public park purposes, including a municipal golf course, the fee simple interest in and to the following described property: Parcel No. 1 Situated in the Village of Mayfield, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio, and known as being part of Original Mayfield Township Lot No. 5, Tract 1, and is further bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of S.O.M. Center Road (60 feet in width) and the Southerly line of the Midvale Land Company's Fair Acres Subdivision as recorded in Volume 94 of Maps, page 34 of Cuyahoga County Records. Thence South 1°18'00" East, 401.07 feet along the center line of S.O.M. Center Road to the princi- pal place of beginning. Thence South 89°52'20" West, 383.25 feet; Thence South 1°18'00" East, 113.69 feet; Thence North 89°52'20" East 383.25 feet, to the said center line of S.O.M. Center Road. Thence North 1°18'00" West, 113.69 feet along the center line of S.O.M. Center Road to the principal place of beginning, containing 1 acre of land be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways.
